What to see and do at Green Meadow
Whatever the weather, or your interests, you'll always find something to do near Green Meadow.
You could take a short stroll down to the beach in Clarach Bay, sit on the rocks and try to spot the pod of dolphins who live in Cardigan Bay.
If you're feeling energetic you can follow the coastal path over the cliffs to Aberystwyth, or to Borth in the opposite direction.
The are mountain bike trails in the nearby forests or follow the Ystwyth cycle trail to Devils Bridge. Golf (courses at Capel Bagnor, Borth, Aberystwyth and Llanrhydstud), pony trekking, canoeing, sailing, climbing ... the list is practically endless and all available in less than 30 minutes drive from the park.
Nature lovers can enjoy the Red Kite feeding centre at Nant-yr-Arian, the wide expanse of flower-rich sand dunes at Ynyslas or the RSPB nature reserves at Yns-hir and Cors Dyfi.
The Victorian seaside resort of Aberystwyth is only 10 minutes away, with it's promenade, pier and cliff railway. The town has many shops, pubs and great places to eat.
There is also the Rheidol Vale Railway to the world famous Devil's Bridge and waterfalls, the National Library of Wales and Arts Centre as well as the usual amenities of a town including supermarkets and a leisure centre.
